The Poway Cruisers Car Club was founded in 2006 by a group of people who shared a common interest in having fun with their cars. The purpose of the club is to provide a fun social environment that makes it fun to indulge in this common interest.
The club is a not-for-profit organization, and there are no membership dues. Membership requirements are: must love having fun with cars and other people that also love having fun with cars. Please click here for membership application.
Beginning in 2009, the club’s signature event became the Wheels of Freedom Car Show produced as part of the Rancho Bernardo Spirit of the 4th Celebration on Independence Day. This event is open to all special interest cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
In addition, the club produces several club events each year: a members only picnic, a members only Christmas Party, and at least one or two casino crawl/poker runs open to non-members by invitation. The club also selects at least one or two area or regional events a month for club participation.
The Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Hamburger Factory on Midland Road in Old Poway Park. The meeting is at 6:00 PM, but most arrive around 5:00 PM and have dinner before the meeting. All visitors are welcome. Please click here for information.
