The day started cool and a little damp, but no rain. The Shedds (Ron & Kathy) and the Cowman’s (George & Joyce) met at the designated muster point (Haggen’s parking lot off Carmel Mountain Rd) at 6:30 AM, hit the road precisely at 6:45 AM for the 25 minute drive to the Embarcadero North Park. Arrived without incident. Our little group joined up with Mark Pilch and friend Joan from the Classic Chevys and scored killer spots overlooking the Bay.
We enjoyed a very laid back day at the Bay, enjoyed a tasty breakfast at Busters, reconnected with many friends, won a door prize but no awards. Friend Mark’s ’57 Chevy did receive the award for best ’57 Chevy.
We were out of there by 1:45 PM. Enjoyed a late lunch at Bite of Boston in RB. Yummy sandwiches.
