Madam Mechanic Car Show for Historic Poway Chapel 10/28/2017

Poway Cruisers at the Madam Mechanic Car Show for the 32nd Annual Fall Festival, 10/28/2017

What a wonderful Saturday for a street fair and car show! As planned, the Poway Cruisers showed it’s community spirit and joined a bunch of other car people at about 9:30 AM for a really enjoyable few hours in the sun. The club was represented by 21 members in 14 cars, with the total of 26 cars in the show..

Located at the Historical Poway Community Church on the corner of Hillary Dr and Community Rd, the event had a bunch of venders with baked goodies, lots of crafts and stuff, even a dog adoption service complete with very friendly and cute puppies (the Chihuahua Rescue), and a really nice lunch in the main church building. Everyone just took it easy, relaxed, and enjoyed the day.

At about 2:00 PM, Karen and Eldon Dunn finished tallying the votes and declared the award winners: Jerry Reed’s ’32 Chevrolet 4 Dr Sedan and Joe and Carol Artino’s ’69 Pontiac Firebird Sprint were winners, and Ed & Carol Asbury’s flamed ’33 Ford 4 Dr Sedan was declared Best of Show.  Congratulations all!
