Fall Mountain Casino Crawl, Poker and Reliability Run
- We started the day with 20 cars, 35 Members participating (well, 34 plus the brother of Mike Gregorich).
- Of the 20 cars that started, 17 completed the whole run.
- Mark Gregorich had a problem with his alternator on the first leg, but he and Mike got it fixed quickly and caught up with us at Valley View. This was the only vehicle issue for the whole run. It serves as testimony to the level of maintenance and care our members provide for their hot rods and collectable cars.
- Dick & Earlene Blank (40 Ford) won big and got hungry at Valley View, so they stayed behind.
- Gerrie & Mary Ann Griffin (Model A Sedan) dropped out at Santa Ysabel as planned due to pressing demands at home.
- Jim Lafenhagen also left the run at Dudley’s to send the rest of the afternoon with his sick pet.
- Total Miles driven for the whole route: 151 Miles (Coco’s to Coco’s)
- Poker Run Pot = $365.00.
- Winning man’s hand went to Mike Gregorich: $165.00
- Winning woman’s hand went to Linda Wilson: $165.00
- Worst overall hand went to Rob Minton: $35.00
- 50/50 Raffle had a $100.00 pot, and Jerry Badders won $50.00 $50.00 goes into the club fund.
- It seemed that Dick Pinta provided enough door prizes so that just about every one got something.
- The stops went just about exactly as planned. We left on time from every stop, and arrived on time or a little early for each stop. Several participants took advantage of the stops at Dudley’s and Julian. I saw the Kellys and Mintons with a bag of apples.
