We had a very nice turnout for the 7th 2016 Hamburger Factory Cruiser In last Wednesday evening, It was a cooled off beautifully making for a very comfortable Wednesday evening, We had 24 participants register for the show, but I counted 29 cars making an appearance. Of special note was participation by several members of the Poway Rotary. I think you must have to like Corvettes to be a Rotarian.
Once again the Hamburger Factory provided a couple of nice meal vouchers and clothing gear for giveaways. The Hamburger Factory selected a beautiful ’48 Cadillac 4 Door Sedan belonging to Rick Carlson as the Favorite of the Show. Earl Asbury (’65 Corvair Convertible ) had the magic ticket and took home his share of the 50/50 OD.
Turned out to be a fun evening for everyone. Some pictures of the show will be on the website shortly.
The next, and last show of the season is October 26nd, same time same place. As it’s only a few days before Halloween, the show will have a Halloween theme, and an award given to the best decorated vehicle. Be sure to bring candy for the early trick opt treaters. Bill and Linda Bryan will host the event. See you all there!
If you can’t wait until October 26th for another cruise in, remember we also have the cruise in at the in-N-Out Burger on the corner of Scripps Poway Parkway & Community Dr. on the first Saturday every month. The nest one is this Saturday, October 1st from 11:00a to 2:00p.
