My dear wife heard me talk about a Bmw Z3 convertible (sorry) for about 10 years and one evening I showed her one for sale with really low miles 12\,000 and she said what are you waiting for! We had that car in the garage in 3 days. \nAbout 3 years later we were moving 4 hours south to Amelia Island and I began to get the corvette itch\, you know the ones that has you remembering when! So I mentioned it to Nancy and she said if you find what you want go ahead and do it. \nSo the hunt began in FL as that seemed to be the area with lots of corvette convertibles in Le Mans Blue\, 6 speed\, low mileage and convertible top! So I drove the z3 south and left in the garage on the Island and drove my other car home a few days later. After two weeks of looking where do I fined the Corvette\, 40 minutes north of where we lived. \nSo I hoped in my car drove 4 hours south to pick up the z3\, drove 4.75 hours north to make the deal. What deal and what a great day. Got what I paid for the z3 and great price on my 2004 c5 Le Mans Blue\, tan interior\, 6 speed\, 30\,000 miles and a convertible. I drive it only with the top down and we get plenty of top down wind in my hair days.
