June 2021
For June 2021, the second show for 2021 was just about as well attended with almost 200 cars parked. Once again the 50/50 was very good. The show favorites where: Norman Niedens ’56 Chevrolet 2d HT, and Joyce Cowman’s ’37 Buick Special Coupe Custom.
Here’s Bob Jacoby’s video of the event:

Hey Fellow Cruisers!
It’s a new month, and things are looking up! We had a fun May, and there’s lots car stuff in the calendar over the next 4 weeks, and more coming.
For May, the club held the first official In-N-Out Burger Cruise In since February 2020. Over 117 cars parked with well over 175 people hanging out. The 50/50 OD brought the winner $240.00, and 3 participant’s cars were recognized as show favorites.
In addition to our own Cruise In, club members attended several other weekend car shows in May: 5/7 – The OTHG Streak 47 at Campland on the Bay rumored to be the last edition; 5/15 – the Ramona Senior Center Car Show at Grace Church in Ramona; also on 5/15 – the Monday Nite Car Club’s Run to the Hills in Pine Valley; 5/16 – the 6th Annual Motors for Music Community Car Show at damp San Marcos High School in San Marcos (my ’37 Buick took home one of their very original and handmade awards); on 5/22 – the 8th Annual Wildcat Run Car Show at El Camino High Scholl in Oceanside; and finally the Auto – Swap and Car Show put on by Charger Steve at the Santee Drive In on Memorial Day. That’s 6 shows in one month. It’s getting busy!!!
In addition to these weekend events, the evening weekday cruises in are going strong again. The Wednesday evening Cajon Classic Cruise re-started on 5/5 at 5:00p and is happening with very good attendance; and the Thursday evening Ramona American Graffiti Cruise Night is going strong starting around 6:00p, also with good attendance. There’s a lot more, too many to mention here. Check Woody’s Calendar for a more complete listing. https://www.goodoleboyssandiego.com/current-event-calendar/
